14 Months!

I'm 14 months old today!   Here are some of the things I'm into:

1. Everything.  I must be watched like a hawk, or I will usually be caught in the pantry, eating cereal out of the boxes.  Berry Kix are my favorite.   I still despise Cheerios.

2. I've discovered there's nothing better than a sippy cup of milk, and some Disney Junior.  In the mornings after breakfast, I like to watch 'Pound Puppies!'  Dad draws the line at 'My Little Pony.'
3. I discovered the trick to getting my parents to stick close by and dote on me is to run a really high fever for three days.  Ear infections are no fun, but the delicious Bubble Gum flavored antibiotics make it much more tolerable.

4. I make truck sounds when I play with my cars and trucks.  I think I might have picked this up from playing with Dad, but I'm not sure.

5. I have a new red wagon that the Easter Bunny brought me, and I like to go for walks in the park.   Or rather, watch my parents walk and be towed in Red Flyer style right behind them.   Seriously, it's the Cadillac of red wagons-  it's got cup holders! (yay!) and seat belts :(  (boo!)
6. I can wave like a champ now, and the neighbors are really tickled by this.  They love to give me waves from across the street.  Of course, it's just icing on the cake when I flash my toothy grin back at them.  Get's 'em every time!

7. I can climb the stairs.   FAST.   My deductible is met until July, so I'm free to take risks, right?

8.  I've become a holy terror in church.  I'm not really understanding the need to sit still for an hour and ten minutes.  You really think those 6 toys and books you brought me are going to keep me entertained for that long?  Silly silly Mom.   Besides, if Dad is on the stand, then surely I'm welcome up there too!
9. I've got rhythm, and I've got moves.   Mom pretty much has music on all the time, and I will raise the roof given the right beat.

10.  I'm going to be walking any day!  I cruise like a champ, and can stand on my own.   Taking that first step seems a little scary, but I'm so close!

And last but not least, here's a birthday shout-out to my birth mom Kelli, whose birthday is today!!!  I hope your day is super fun!!

Love,
JACK
This is a random pic of me 'dyeing' plastic Easter eggs in a mug of water.  Grandma didn't think I'd know the difference, but I wasn't born yesterday!  I'm way too clean for this to be for real!

  2. Haha! The dyeing Easter eggs in water is SO awesome! We still don't dye eggs around here, I wish I'd thought of that trick!
