As I enter the homestretch towards my birthday, here are a few things that I'm up to now:
1. STILL NOT CRAWLING. Let's face it, I'm lazy. I've rocked on all fours for four months, but only because I think it's fun. Not as a pre-cursor to actual mobility, which interests me very little.
2. I'm giving up the sauce. (Formula, that is) Mom waters it down with something called "organic cow's milk," which is hippie talk for "very expensive."
3. I'm starting to wear big-boy clothes, and fewer and fewer onesies. Onesies are for babies. 12-18 mths is where I'm at right now, size wise.
4. I'm getting ready to fly to Grandma and Grandpa Huffman's next week, and I plan on being really good on the plane. Or sorta good. Good is relative, depending on who's point of view.
5. I'm clingy. I really like my mama, and she really likes me. We're a good team. Why would I want to switch it up?
6. I like food, but I don't like to pick it up. I prefer to be fed like a baby bird, and have it delivered straight to my gaping mouth. Goldfish and Gerber puffs are the only exception.
7. I sleep pretty good, but I like to have an 11:00pm crying jag- just to see which parent will come snuggle me.
8. I like to watch re-runs of A-Team with Daddy. I do NOT like to watch Downton Abbey with Mom. Netflix is both a blessing and a curse!
9. I still love riding in the cart at the grocery store. Mom says I'm her best shopping buddy.
10. I have six teeth now, four on top, and two on the bottom. I can make gruesome scraping sounds, especially with graham crackers.
I cannot believe he is almost a year old!!! Wow. He's adorable.
