Farm Boy

If I could live on the farm, and ride the scooter every day, I would be a happy boy!  I love spending time with my Grandma and Grandpa on the farm, and ask to go there all the time.

It's hard to see in this picture, but Dad is down in the field dove hunting.

Crunching the numbers

Mom's concerned that I'm so adept at using her computer at such a tender age.     Note the super redneck booster seat...    I have a website called ABC mouse that I use to learn about shapes and letters.  I'm ready for this preschool thing!

Barn Park

It's official.   I'm obsessed with the "Barn Park."  The town of Knightdale opened the crown jewel of playground parks, and I've been asking to go ever since.  It's shaped like grain silo's and barns, and it's pretty darn cool.   It's also pretty busy, so you either have to go about 10 minutes until dark, or on a rainy day to get anywhere near it.    But I'm patient.  (Why is Mom laughing out loud?  I don't get it.)

Mom is stumped by this blue swing.  The only thing she can figure is that maybe it's meant for handicapped kids?   Not sure.

And no trip to the park is complete without a trip to Bojangles for some chicken.  And fries.

Chores

Put me in charge.   I'll get this place whipped into shape!  I'm a great little worker when you catch me in the right mood.   I'm also very mechanically minded, and love to "fix" things (take things apart) with my "dewdiver."    (See last picture.)

Dad's have skills....

One of the best things about Dads is their ability to build anything out of Legos.   And to be patient while I can't get those darn little bricks apart.  Or together.   Or apart again.   Or together again.....

Making Chocolate Milk

There's this thing I like to do in my sandbox, and can do it for HOURS.  As long as there is a steady supply of water.   Did you know that when you mix sandbox sand and water, it looks like a delicious beverage?  The secret is to stick your tongue out while you're mixing....

Sleepover!

Mom's friend Sofia had twins, so we took a little overnighter to go see the babies, and for me to play with my friend Sam.   Sam was born 3 weeks after me, and was my first friend!   We had a great time!

There was a trip to the mall to play on the toys, and fries.   Of course!     Thanks Mom, for not posting those bathtub pictures of the two of us.   I don't know what the words "blackmail" and "dating" mean, but the way you said it doesn't make me think it will be a good thing.   For me, OR Sam.

Lazy Saturday

Let me preface this by telling you that I've been asking for a doughnut for two days.   I'm not sure where the thought came from, but I wouldn't let it go.

The difference between my Mom and yours?   My mom bought me the doughnut.   Your mom made you eat Cheerios this morning.    Of course when a boy likes to get up at 6:00am, there are few options for things to go do.    Unless you like yard sales, or roaming the Sams Club, Krispy Kreme is the clear winner!

I call this one.....

....Captain Underpants and the Fortress of Solitude

I'm really into forts right now, ever since the night that my cousins babysat me while my parents went to dinner.   A boy with a great imagination can really go to town with a few couch pillows and some blankets!

Like this one here:

What?  Can't a man lounge around in the comfort of his Cars underpants in the privacy of his own fort?
